Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Oldmixon Primary School in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset.
Part of the Extend Learning Academies Network.
At Oldmixon, we are proud to be a caring and inclusive school where every child is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their very best. We are more than a school; we are the Oldmixon family, where children, staff and families work together to create a strong sense of belonging and community.
Through our vision of Achieving for Life, we provide a rich and ambitious curriculum alongside a wide range of opportunities that inspire curiosity, build confidence and help children discover their strengths and interests.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We celebrate every child's individuality, ensuring they feel safe, supported and able to overcome challenges while maintain high expectations for all. Our dedicated staff build strong relationships with children and families, creating a nurturing environment where everyone feels valued.
The children are proud to be part of the Oldmixon family. They feel a strong sense of belonging to the school and know their voices matter and are encouraged to develop the independence and confidence they need to succeed.
I am incredibly proud to be part of this special community. We warmly welcome visits from prospective families and would be delighted to show you what makes Oldmixon such a wonderful place to learn, grow and belong.
We hope our website gives you a glimpse into the life at Oldmixon and provides a useful window into our school community. If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. Our team will be happy to help.
